What Students Should Expect
Each course includes textbook, quizzes to help prepare for the final exam, midterms and a request for final exam form. The final exam is sent to the Test Administrator. Each home-study course consists of a minimum of 45 hours reading and studying the course textbook, taking the non-graded chapter review quizzes, and passing a final examination. The final examination can be taken a minimum of 18 days from the date the student has had access to the course materials. No two courses can be completed in less than five weeks. Students must spend a minimum of 2 ˝ weeks studying each course. The maximum time students have to complete a course is one year from the date of registration. If a student fails the final examination, he or she may take an alternate final examination one time. If the course is not completed within one year, a $25 administration fee will apply to re-enroll in this course. However, students must wait a minimum of another 18 days studying the course material before they can re-take the final examination. If a student fails the final examination two times, they will need to re-enroll in the course and pay an enrollment fee of $35. If at that time we are still using the same edition of the textbook, students will not be required to purchase a duplicate edition of the textbook. If, at the time of re-enrollment, we are using a more recent edition of the text, students will be required to pay the full enrollment fee and will receive the updated edition of the text.
Final Examination
The final exam is open-book and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. Students are allowed three hours to complete the final exam and need to score a minimum of 60% to pass. Students have a choice of taking the final exam at A+ Real Estate Educators or with a Test Administrator. Students may contact A+ and request a convenient date and time for the final exam to be taken at A+ Real Estate Educators’ office. For proctored exams, students may contact A+ and request a convenient location, date and time for the final exam and may also suggest the proctor or entity to administer the final exam. However, the final designation and approval of the final exam administrator and determination of the location, date and time is the responsibility of A+. The Test Administrator cannot be related by blood, marriage, domestic partnership, or any other relationship to the student which would influence them from properly administering the exam. Under no circumstances shall the final exam be furnished directly to the students.
Final Examination Results
When we receive the final exam packet (which includes the original exam booklet and answer sheet) from your Test Administrator, we will grade your exam. On successfully passing the final exam with a score of 60% or better, we will issue an original Certificate of Completion within 2 business days of receiving final exam booklet and answer sheet. A+ is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and all holidays. The Certificate of Completion will be mailed directly to you. We will be happy to fax a copy of the Certificate. However, we must receive the original exam packet before we mail the original completion certificate.
Refund Policy
We will accept refunds on A+ Real Estate Educators' products if all materials are returned within 15 days of your invoice date, all materials are unmarked and in re-saleable condition. Shipping and Handling are not refundable.
